Air Hogs Hawk Eye Review

Air Hogs Hawk Eye Review Video Clips.

This is the hawk eye from air hogs, as most of you know it is a 2 channel rc helicopter, it has an onboard video camera that captures about 5 minutes of 340 by 240 video, and 640 by 480 still pictures, it doesn't have a microphone but it does have an ambient light sensor to adjust the camera for different lighting conditions. The video is 24 fps and it's pretty decent, but the helicopter is not very stable in the air, it is more stable than other 2 channel helicopters like the havoc, but not by much. Once you get it trimmed it can fly straight and it can turn pretty decently, but it has a tendency to want to spin at random moments, new pilots will have a lot of trouble getting any stable video on your first few flights, there is going to be a lot of shaky video posted form these helis. It is cool to have a camera on your helicopter, and the design of the aircraft looks nice, with little thruster and other details, I like that you can charge it without wasting batteries. It charges from your PC, you plug a slandered usb cable into the transmitter, and then plug the heli onto the transmitter and it charges in about 35 minutes. The read right times of the built in memory are not very fast, it takes about 2 minutes to transfer the 59 megs of vide from the heli, a modern micro sd card transfers the same amount of data in about 10 seconds. Because of the slower read right speed you will notice the occasional dropped frames. I have to give Air Hogs high marks in making it user ...
